Please join us in giving thanks to God on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28th. Mass is at 9 am in St. Mary's church in Bath. Bread will be blessed and available to take home and/or shared with the homebound.


Music Ministry

Join together in song. Rehearsals on Sunday mornings, 8:15 am in the chapel at St. Mary's. Sing at 9:00 am Sunday Mass, as your schedule allows.

Eucharistic Adoration

Mondays from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM in the chapel at St. Mary's. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by parishioners who pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. A Holy Hour is also scheduled from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on the third Sunday of the month at St. Gabriel's.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastoral Administrator on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at weekend masses. There are volunteers at both St. Mary;s and St. Gabriel's who normally  do the counting on Monday mornings.

Pastoral Council

The PC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. John Vianney Parish.

Senior Altar Server

Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.


Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.


Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.


Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith.

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Fellowship Committee

Volunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year.

Flowers and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.


Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.


Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.


Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacrament of initiation.
